Classic colour, timeless shape, these could be worn with a number of outfits.

I'd wear them with a pair of high-waisted, envelope cut trousers, tapered at the ankles to show them off (similar to those of Gianfranco Ferré autumn/winter 2009/10). I'd pair the trousers with a a simple, chiffon blouse, and let the boots do the talking!Jazz Virtuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07914260470555258122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3577597326392213256.post-89042400860490909752009-11-10T14:50:28.379-08:002009-11-10T14:50:28.379-08:00Since the moment I laid my eyes on the Melissa But...Since the moment I laid my eyes on the Melissa Button boot about a month ago, I have not been able to get them out of my head! The gorgeous leather, adorable button, and the great workmanship have definitely come together in this perfect pair of classic boots.

I think about these boots about once or twice a day... usually day dreaming about what I'd wear with them (hmm... how about a new knit dress and leggings, or some new skinnies and a long sweater?) but more likely than not, I'm thinking up how I can save enough money for a pair. I'm racking my brain to think of things to sell on Craigslist just so I can get these boots (I've already saved up $130 by selling some of my wedding decorations. Score!) but I'm pretty sure once I get these beauties, I'll need more money to buy super cute outfits to match the even-super-er cuteness of the boots.

Oh, and I went completely out of my way after work today just to touch my Melissa Button boots at Macy's. *sigh* they are heaven.kimmiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17648379057856404736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3577597326392213256.post-18630398724564689132009-11-08T08:42:58.961-08:002009-11-08T08:42:58.961-08:00I love the Dorado Suede Riding Boots. They've different enough to stand out from the boot pack now and classic enough to last forever--I can see myself wearing them for the rest of my life. How?

Now: Around my orange-leaved college campus with floral tights, a vintage dress, and a blazer from my mom. The tough soles are perfect for crunching over pavement and acorns and, in a few months, snow.

In ten years: With dark jeans, a cozy sweater, and a piece of interesting jewelry (big necklace? ring?) while at lunch with the same friends I've had since college.

In twenty years: Pulled on over husband's jeans and t-shirt to chase after babies, get work done, garden in the backyard, and reflect upon the fact that it all started in 2009 with the Shopbop giveaway.cbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15553456798657306083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3577597326392213256.post-59915726313464332372009-11-08T00:43:57.926-08:002009-11-08T00:43:57.926-08:00I was looking for the perfect pair of winter boots...I was looking for the perfect pair of winter boots anyway. I've even considered getting them made since there wasn't anything that I truly liked. I hadn't even considered Fryes until I saw your post. Because I can't afford anything like the Louboutin Oxford's (Olivia Polermo's favorite), the Frye Erin is a perfect way to stay en trend, support a longstanding American shoemaking tradition, and not break the bank. I might wear them with Free People's stretch motorcycle jeans, and a plain white Alexander Wang tee.Alinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3577597326392213256.post-23012586245207808972009-11-05T15:47:10.903-08:002009-11-05T15:47:10.903-08:00I love the Matilda Button-Tall boots in blue, beca...I love the Matilda Button-Tall boots in blue, because Lindsay Lohan would so approve! I would rock them with a short black tank dress, a colorful beanie and scarf, and of course, some shades...because it is still hitting 75 degrees in California, and we can still pair tanks and scarves in November!
